Nicki Broad Feeling Fit and Focussed for European Championships

For the third year running, we are proud to be supporting Nicki Broad, Great British Age Group Triathlete, as she competes in the Middle Distance European Aquabike Championships in Belgium this weekend.

Nicki’s performance has gone from to strength to strength with some great results in her races in the lead up to this competition coming second in an early Supersprint Triathlon in St Neots and third in a standard distance Aquabike in Dorney.

“I’ve had a great build up to the European Championships racing the shorter distances; Sunday’s race is middle distance and I have only had one build up race at this distance but I’m feeling fit and now I’m here in Belgium the bike course will suit my fast pace. The swim is going to be a challenge as it’s in a river with a strong current. Competitors can do a test swim which I have done and I will have work hard on the swim leg. The GB group has a strong field and I’m going to do my best!”
